Black Sheep Goes to the UK!
Black Sheep Web Design recently contracted with David Bakhshi, renowned international bridge player to design and develop a website promoting his bridge skills and services, as well as his bridge app for the iphone.
David Bakhshi is one of the leading bridge professionals in the UK, with numerous successes in domestic and international tournaments. David plays regularly in the World’s top events. Over the last 20 years, he has represented England and Britain at both junior and Open levels of competition. His achievements as a player include winning a whole range of domestic events – Britain’s most prestigious tournament, the Gold Cup (four times), Crockfords (twice), the Spring Foursomes and the Lederer Memorial Trophy (twice). David is currently top of the English Bridge Union’s Gold Point ranking list (based on achievements in tournaments in the UK over the past five years).
International successes include a bronze medal in the European Open Teams, a 6th place finish in the World Open Pairs (the highest placing by an English pair in over 30 years), and several top ten finishes in North American Bridge Championships. Aside from representing England as a player, David has also coached the England Open Team (they finished 4th in the World Teams Olympiad).
David is also an accomplished teacher. He is currently the lead teacher at the Andrew Robson Bridge Club, where he has taught thousands of students over the last ten years. He also has a regular column in English Bridge.
